Fountain Hill shooting: Police looking for 2 suspects, asking for public to share camera footage

Police are asking for the public’s help after one person was shot Monday night in Fountain Hill.

A man was shot about 9 p.m. in the 700 block of Cherokee Street, near the intersection with Fiot Street, according to Detective Richard Krasley. He said investigators believe there were two shooters involved.

The man who was shot was hospitalized and is in stable condition, according to the detective.

The department is asking anyone with nearby camera footage or additional information to contact them at 610-691-5512.

The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office referred questions to Fountain Hill police, and said while it has been informed of the incident, its assistance had not been requested in the investigation.
