
One of two suspects wanted by Easton police in connection with a robbery turned shooting early Thursday that wounded another man has turned himself into authorities.
Naji Gillison, 29, was charged as the shooter in the 12:30 a.m. incident in the 1000 block of Ferry Street, according to a news release from Easton police Lt. Matthew Gerould. He turned himself in Friday evening, Gerould later said.
Gillison also faces charges of aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and aggravated assault, according to Gerould.
Oscar Delgado, 22, is also being charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and simple assault. He remains at large and was believed to have left the area, Gerould said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
In an earlier news release on Thursday, police had said they believed the man was shot after an altercation with a group of people. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
Police are still investigating the incident and still determining whether other suspects may have been involved. Anyone with information is asked to call city detectives at 610-250-6780.
