Penn State running back Kaytron Allen and guard Vega Ioane have received more All-America honors.

Allen was named Tuesday to the American Football Coaches Association All-America second team one day after he was voted to The Associated Press All-America third team.

Ioane was selected to the AP second team after he was named to Walter Camp Foundation second team over the weekend.

Allen has rushed for a school-record 4,180 yards in his career, including 1,303 yards this season, and 39 touchdowns, which is third at Penn State.

He has posted five 100-yard rushing games this season, including four against Big Ten opponents: Iowa (145), Michigan State (181), Nebraska (160) and Rutgers (226). He’s the first Penn State back with four 100-yard games in Big Ten play since Miles Sanders in 2018.

Allen was voted to the All-Big Ten first team by the coaches and media.

Ioane was named to the All-Big Ten first team by the media and to the second team by the coaches. He played in 44 games for the Lions, including 32 starts. He allowed no sacks and three pressures in 310 pass blocking snaps this season.

Headed to Senior Bowl: Penn State running back Nick Singleton and offensive tackle Drew Shelton accepted invitations Tuesday to play in the Senior Bowl Jan. 31 in Mobile, Ala.

Singleton (Gov. Mifflin), Shelton (Downingtown West) and five of their teammates will play in the premier college football all-star game. They joined running back Kaytron Allen, offensive lineman Vega Ioane, defensive linemen Dani Dennis-Sutton and Zane Durant and safety Zakee Wheatley.

Campbell adds staffer: Noah Pauley, one of Iowa State’s top assistant coaches, will be part of former Cyclones coach Matt Campbell’s first staff at Penn State, according to several reports.

Pauley will join three former Iowa State assistant coaches at Penn State: offensive coordinator Taylor Mouser, offensive line coach Ryan Clanton and secondary coach Deon Broomfield.

Four commits flip: Four high school seniors who had previously committed to Iowa State have flipped to Penn State and former Cyclones coach Matt Campbell. All four players are rated three-star recruits.

They are safety Tyrell Chatman, North Star High School, Lincoln, Neb.; safety Bryson Williams, Westlake High School, Omaha, Neb.; quarterback Kase Evans, Lexington High School, Lexington, Texas; and punter Lucas Tenbrock, St. Charles North High School, St. Charles, Ill.

They joined two former Pennsylvania high school players who signed letters of intent with Penn State, quarterback Peyton Falzone of Nazareth High School and defensive end Jackson Ford of Malvern Prep.
