STATE COLLEGE — Grading the Penn State football team on its 37-10 win over Nebraska on Saturday night at Beaver Stadium:

Quarterbacks

A: Ethan Grunkemeyer keeps getting better, completing 11 of 12 passes for 181 yards and one touchdown.

Running backs

A: Kaytron Allen rushed for a career-high 160 yards and two TDs and Nick Singleton added 95 all-purpose yards and two TDs on their record night.

Receivers

A: Five receivers caught passes of at least 20 yards and tight end Andre Rappleyea made his first TD catch.

Offensive linemen

A: The blocking was even better than it was against Michigan State as the Lions totaled 412 yards and averaged almost 6 yards a carry.

Defensive linemen

B: Dani Dennis-Sutton, Zane Durant and Yvan Kemajou accounted for all three sacks and Penn State held Nebraska to 79 rushing yards after an early 52-yard burst.

Linebackers

B: Dominic DeLuca, Amare Campbell and Alex Tatsch combined for 21 stops, including a big fourth-down stop by Campbell near the goal line.

Defensive backs

B: They contained Nebraska’s receivers until after the Lions had built a big lead and limited the Cornhuskers to 5.3 yards a pass attempt.

Special teams

C: Ryan Barker improved his field-goal accuracy to 13-for-14 but missed his first PAT. The kickoff coverage was not great.

Coaches

A: Penn State has had an identity the last three games, relying on the ground game and pressuring the quarterback. Add the successful fake punt.
