Set a PIAA championship-game record with 301 rushing yards in the Spartans’ 43-21 win over Twin Valley as the Spartans won the Class 4A title. Carried the ball 37 times in the game and scored four touchdowns.

Alexa Davis, Nazareth girls basketball

Scored 30 points in the Blue Eagles’ 60-29 win over Freedom.

The linebacker made a team-high nine tackles, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass in a 28-24 victory over Cardinal O’Hara in a PIAA Class 4A semifinal. He is tied for the team lead with 95 tackles.

Trevon Tyler, Easton football

Scored on a 63-yard run and a 90-yard kickoff return in 42-17 victory over Parkland in the District 11 Class 6A championship game. He rushed for 101 yards on 6 carries in the game.

Hannah Gober, Northwestern Lehigh field hockey

Signed a letter of intent to attend Ohio State and play field hockey for the Buckeyes. She was part of Northwestern Lehigh’s 2024 state title team and this year’s squad, which reached the state semifinals.

The Green Knights quarterback threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 73 yards in a District 11 Class 2A quarterfinal against Minersville.

Kasia Burda, Parkland volleyball

Had 15 kills in a semifinal win over Freedom and 17 against Emmaus in the finals as Parkland won in five sets for their 14th district title in the last 16 seasons.

Bella Danise, Nazareth soccer

Scored 2 goals against Emmaus in a 3-1 semifinal win and scored the game-winning goal against Parkland as the Eagles won their first district title in 15 years.

Had nine kills in the Green Hornets’ 31-29, 25-21, 24-26, 25-22 win over defending champion Liberty in the District 11 Class 4A quarterfinals.

Ryan Fach, Emmaus boys cross country

Finished fourth in the District 11 Class 3A championships as the Green Hornets won their first team title in 25 years. Fach ran 16:43.9 for the 5,000-meter course.

Noah Borluca, Easton football

The kicker booted a 36-yard field goal with 4:56 remaining in the game that proved to be the deciding points in the undefeated Red Rovers’ 17-14 victory over Freedom on senior night.

Madelyn McCartney, Emmaus girls cross-country

Won her third straight EPC championship, taking this year’s race in 18:11.3 at DeSales. She finished second as a freshman. She is the two-time defending 3A District 11 champion.
