A 7.5-acre lot in Upper Macungie Township was recently sold to a developer who plans to build 10 homes.
Feinberg Real Estate Advisors said Thursday that the lot at 5137 Schantz Road was sold to Hallmark Homes — Surrey Court LLC for $770,000. The seller was The Johnson Family Trust of North Whitehall Township.
The land, wedged between Schantz Road and Interstate 78 and just off Cetronia Road, had been used for farming.
Casey Keller and Cindy McDonnell Feinberg represented the buyer and seller.
“From the beginning of our marketing efforts, we knew that this parcel would drive significant interest from buyers,” Feinberg said. “We received a handful of strong offers with the sellers ultimately choosing Hallmark Homes Group as the buyer.
“Knowing that the buyer was a developer who had a strong portfolio of beautiful homes helped the seller feel confident in their ability to get to closing and it was a wonderful process working with both parties throughout the process. We are excited to see this development come to life.”
On its website, Bucks County-based Hallmark said it plans to begin construction in the fall. Surrey Court will be extended from the neighboring Carriage House Farms development through the new Reserve at Surrey Court.
Hallmark said the homes, which will be between 2,603 and 3,742 square feet, will be priced beginning at $730,000.
