A groundbreaking celebration was held Tuesday to mark the official start of construction of The Standard, City Center Group’s 15th residential building in downtown Allentown.

The Standard will be a four-story, 196,498-square-foot building with 257 residential units on North Sixth Street between Linden and Turner streets, on the former site of The Morning Call headquarters.
