Veterans and active military members can get free food, car washes and more at a variety of businesses around the Lehigh Valley in honor of Veterans Day.
Sheetz will offer a half turkey sub, a regular-size fountain drink and the car wash for free to veterans and active military members at any of its locations, a news release announced.
The car wash only applies to the normally $9 option, and customers will need to present military identification or proof of service to receive the freebies.
Red Robin and Shake Shack are offering free burgers for veterans or active military with identification.
Veterans also can enjoy free coffee from Starbucks, meals from Applebee’s and Chili’s and frozen yogurt from Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt.
Be sure to check ahead of time that any particular location participates.
