Pickleball players can beat the cold when a franchise’s new indoor facility opens next month in Whitehall Township.

Pickleball Kingdom will open Nov. 22 at the Whitehall Square shopping center at 2180 MacArthur Road, according to Operations Manager Alex Monteith. It will be the chain’s first Pennsylvania location.

The facility will have 14 indoor courts, three event rooms, an elevator for ADA access, classes, youth programs, leagues and tournaments.

It will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. all week, Monteith said.

Chris and BethAnn Monteith, Alex’s parents, are the franchisees.

The first Pickleball Kingdom opened in 2022 in Arizona. With the new Whitehall location, the franchise will have opened in 25 other states, its website listed.

This story has been updated after Pickleball Kingdom changed the opening date from Nov. 15 to Nov. 22.
