Musikfest is moving most of its outdoor shows on preview night inside ahead of Thursday’s anticipated storms and heavy rain.

The festival posted on social media that performances at the Air Products Americaplatz stage at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks will take place inside Musikfest Cafe. Performances that were scheduled for Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage on Air Products Town Square will instead be held at the Williams Brew Stage, which is on the first floor of the ArtsQuest Center.

Multiple performances were scheduled between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in those two areas.

Country musician Megan Moroney’s sold-out show, scheduled for 7:15 p.m. at the Wind Creek Steel Stage is still running as scheduled, on time, the festival said. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Any additional updates will be posted on the Musikfest app and social media pages.

The festival, which takes places in both North and South sides of Bethlehem, starts Friday. There is a preview night Thursday, and only the South Side part of the festival is open then.

The Lehigh Valley will be under a flash flood watch from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rainfall rates between 1 and 3 inches are expected, but forecasters noted some areas could get between 5 and 7 inches. The National Weather Service said significant flash flooding is possible.
