Elaine J. Solvino OBITUARY

Elaine J. Solvino, 83, formerly of Whitehall, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Harleysville, PA. Born in Hazleton, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Greno) Koren. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael (Koren), and sisters, Mary (Brand), Irene (Kokosky), and Joan (Wilt). She attended Dieruff High School, and was a proud graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She devoted more than 37 years of her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, serving in both the Emergency Room and Trauma Unit, as well as playing a key role in helping to establish the Neurology Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, where she worked until retirement. Amongst her peers she was known for her exceptional phlebotomy skills. She cherished time with her grandchildren, loved many pets, crocheted many blankets and sweaters for family and friends. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, and baking cinnamon rolls and nut breads. As a devoted woman of faith, she loved leading Daily Bible studies and Devotions at her assisted care communities, providing a special blessing to everyone she met…”Watch what you are doing, watch what you are saying, grow in Christ Jesus – let the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit lead, guide, direct, and light your way – God Bless you!”

She is survived by sons Riccardo (wife Jolene), Daniel (wife Alexa), Joseph, and daughter Suzanne (wife of Christopher Sabia); 8 grandchildren Christopher (wife Taylor), Luke, Gianna, Nico, Nya, Valentina, Salo and Juan.
