Carol R. Kercher OBITUARY

Carol R. Kercher, 85, formerly of Emmaus, died peacefully Dec. 26, 2025 in Cedarbrook. She was the wife of the late Clyde C. Kercher. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter the late William and Ruth (Strohecker) Bishop. Carol worked as a nursery school teacher at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit and later as a data entry clerk for Dun and Bradstreet before retiring. She was a former active member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Macungie. Carol is survived by her daughters, Cathy Kercher and companion Jeff Beahm and Corin wife of Doug Dries; grandchildren, Jaime Bisbing, Kelsey Scheffley, Connor Dries and Mackenzie Dries; great grandchildren, Cameron Scheffley and Bryce and Lillian Bisbing; sisters, Claire Stephen and Linda Pfleiger. She was predeceased by a brother, William Bishop. Funeral services will be held on Fri., Jan. 2, 2026 at 12 Noon in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 11:00 to 12Noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cedarbrook Activity Fund, 350 S. Cedarbrook Rd., Allentown, PA 18104.
