Barbara A. Schaeffer OBITUARY

Barbara A. (Kulp) Schaeffer, 83, of Walnutport, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Dale R. Schaeffer to whom she was married 59 years. Born in Fleetwood, August 13, 1942, Barbara was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Sarah (Levan) Kulp. She was employed at PPL in Allentown as a secretary for 30 years before retiring in 2001. Barbara was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Dale; sons, Jeffery L. Schaeffer at home, Christopher Schaeffer of Palmerton; brother, David Kulp (Michelle) of Slatington; sister, Shirley M. Bachert of Orefield.

Service: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Jessica Kingsborough officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 am. – 11:00 am. prior to the service. Private interment at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
