Crews responded to a water main break Tuesday morning in Lehigh County.

Upper Saucon Township police said about 9 a.m. that public works crews were dealing with the break in the area of Camp Meeting and East Valley roads. The road was open but limited to one lane of traffic.

The township said nearby residents and businesses may be affected by the break. Effects include lower water pressure, temporary water loss and discolored water once service is restored, according to the township.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews were working to repair the water main.

No further details were immediately available.
