An Easton man has been charged in an armed robbery last week at a Wilson pizza shop, according to authorities.

Sean Thompson-Ferrero, 34, was arrested Tuesday on charges alleging he robbed the Papa John’s at 752 S. 25th St., borough police said in a news release.

Thompson-Ferrero entered the shop about 3 p.m. Nov. 4, displayed a knife and told the clerk he was sorry before demanding $80, police said. He took the cash and fled the scene, according to the release.

Investigators used video surveillance and tips from the public to identify him, police said. He was arrested at his Easton home without incident.

Thompson-Ferrero is charged with robbery as well as misdemeanor offenses of possessing an instrument of crime, simple assault and theft. He was sent to Northampton County Jail under $10,000 bail.

The robbery last week was one of two that happened this month in the borough, police said. Two men on Monday morning robbed the Penn Jersey gas station at 2134 Northampton St.
