No one was hurt Saturday when shots were fired during what witnesses described as an argument outside a youth football game in Bethlehem, according to authorities.

A man dressed in black fired multiple shots in the air about 4:30 p.m. near Rodgers and Lewis streets before fleeing in a black sedan with tinted windows, according to city police Capt. William Audelo. That is adjacent to Sell Field, where several hundred people were watching a youth football championship, he said.

The shooting happened shortly after the game ended. Investigators found nine spent 9 mm casings in the area. No nearby hospital reported any gunshot victims, he said.

The vehicle fled west on Lewis Street, the captain said. Anyone with surveillance footage or additional information is asked to contact police at 610-865-7000 or through the department’s anonymous tip line at 610-691-6660.
