Mixed precipitation and light snow are possible Wednesday in the Lehigh Valley.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, has placed Lehigh, Northampton and Berks counties under a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m.
Snow accumulations up to an inch and ice accumulations around a “light glaze” are possible, according to forecasters. Slippery or hazardous road conditions could affect both the morning and evening commutes.
Rain and snow is expected earlier in the day before changing to rain Wednesday night.
All snow is expected to the north of the Lehigh Valley, in the Poconos. Between 1 and 3 inches of snow could fall there, according to forecasters. Precipitation should clear up in the evening.
Thursday should be clear, but there is a chance of snow again Friday. Forecasters said what exactly that might look like is not yet clear.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 28.
