PennDOT has implemented a number of restrictions on various roads ahead of a winter storm expected to hit eastern Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
The storm is expected to bring up to 5 inches of snow to the Lehigh Valley, and potentially more north of the region, in the Poconos. PennDOT said in a news release that snowfall rates could reach a half an inch or three-quarters of an inch of snow per hour.

- Route 33
- Interstate 180
- Interstate 81 from I-78 to the New York border
- I-80 from the Lamar exit to the New York border
- Interstate 84
Under Tier 1 restrictions, the following vehicles are not allowed on affected roads:
- Tractors without trailers
- Tractors towing unloaded or lightly loaded enclosed trailers, open trailers or tank trailers
- Tractors towing unloaded or lightly loaded tandem trailers
- Enclosed unloaded or lightly loaded cargo delivery trucks
