An Allentown man was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on a drug trafficking offense in Franklin County, according to authorities.
Jose Urena-Capellan, 40, is charged with one count of attempted possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said in a news release Friday.
Urena-Capellan had 400 grams or more of fentanyl on July 30 while in Franklin County, federal authorities said.
State police and the United States Postal Inspection Service investigated the case.
