A portion of Route 378 in Northampton County was closed for several hours Monday after a construction vehicle hit a house in the area, according to authorities.
Lower Saucon Township police said about 10 a.m. that the highway was closed in both directions between North Mountain Drive in the township, and the Five Points intersection with Broadway in Bethlehem.
Photos posted on social media showed a dump truck had hit a house on Frederick Street, which is just off Route 378.
Lower Saucon police reported just after 12:30 p.m. that the highway had reopened.
